Served by a retinue of mystics and champions, each tribe of trolls is ruled over by a chieftain. As the leader of his tribe, a troll chieftain is responsible for the wellbeing of his people as a whole, not just in times of war. Arguably, though, it is when leading his tribe into battle where a chieftain excels. Though considered dim-witted by many of the Orb’s other inhabitants, trolls can actually prove savvy military commanders, while also being ferocious fighters themselves. A Trolls army comprises huge trolls backed by their servants-come-cultists, known as ‘underlings’. Perhaps strangest of all the troops that make up an army of Trolls are the strange and savage, swamp-dwelling ‘things’.
